D57 SERIES PERFORMANCE ENGINE WATER BRAKE DYNO

Join the winning team with the D57 series of Go Power dynamometers engineered specifically for performance engines. The D57 Series gasoline engine dynamometer is designed to be quickly and easily fitted to an engine mounted on a fixed base or mobile engine stand.

Between the D357 (600 HP and 500 lb-ft) and the D557 (1,000 HP and 750 lb-ft), you will find the perfect dyno for your testing needs. Further details, as well as a power curve, are available below.

The ease of use, when combined with a Go Power Systems instrumentation package, allows the user to achieve precise testing and results with minimum set-up time.

There are a wide variety of adapters and engine carts available for attachment to standard engine types. We can design adapters for virtually any application.

Go Power Systems offers cooling columns, engine carts, engine adapters and many other accessories necessary to outfit test cells from the entry-level to the most sophisticated automated data acquisition & control systems.

The D357 performance engine dynamometer is designed for endurance and/or power testing of gasoline engines at speeds up to 7,500 rpm continuous and 10,000 rpm intermittent. The D357 is quickly and easily fitted to an engine mounted on a fixed base or mobile engine stand.

The D357 dyno is compatible with our complete line of digital consoles and state of the art control systems. This unique modular design provides maximum flexibility to expand to your system as your testing requirements grow.

As with all the Go Power dynos, the D Series dynos can be purchased as an individual unit, or as part of a complete test package:

The EDP357 Essential Dynamometer System Package is a portable gasoline engine testing package consisting of:

  • D357 performance engine portable dynamometer
  • Torque calibration arm assembly (metric or imperial, weights not included)
  •  Manual load control valve set
  • DC200 digital display console. Read more about the DC200 here.
  • Interface harness kit (speed and torque)

The EDP357 is perfect for the gasoline engine tester that does not require a data acquisition system but is looking to simply get readings on RPM, Speed and Torque. If an actual data acquisition system is desired, the ADP package would be appropriate.

The ADP357 Advanced Dynamometer Package includes all of the components listed in the EDP package, except the GPS6000 Data Acquisition System is supplied in place of the DC200 Display Console.

CAUTION

The dynamometer may be operated continuously within the duty curve; however, hydraulic machines are regularly used for short-term performance testing at considerably higher power values (torque levels remain with the maximum published level). This results in rapid heating of the water within the machine which may result in localized vaporization and potential loss of control. Go Power Systems accepts no responsibility for any resulting loss due to operation outside the published performance characteristics of the individual dynamometer.
