It is critical to regularly calibrate your dynamometer and associated data acquisition system for accurate and repeatable test results. Generally, whenever data collected from the dynamometer is questionable, the first suspect is sensor calibration where the data is generated. Knowing the calibration is current and correct is a precursor for eliminating the dynamometer system as a potential source for inaccuracies in the data.
