a perfect solution

FOR GASOLINE ENGINE AUTOMOTIVE TESTING

Go Power Systems manufactures portable dynos that are used in a variety of vocations in the automotive sector. The D57 series automotive dyno can be used with gasoline engines at speeds up to 7,500 rpm continuous and 10,000 rpm intermittent. The D57 is designed to quickly and easily fit to an engine mounted on a fixed base or mobile engine stand. When combined with a Go Power instrumentation package, the D57 allows the user to achieve precise and repeatable testing results with minimum set up time. There are a wide variety of adapters and engine carts available that will allow attachment to most standard engine types.

Automotive Dyno Features:

  • Engages drive plate assembly and pilots into the crankshaft
  • Torsional dampening is recommended (clutch plate)
  • Control load varied at the inlet
  • Engine mounting through bell housing adapter plate
  • Requires no additional support fixture in close-coupled configuration
  • Flywheel interface requires splined input shaft adapter

The GPR 557 dyno system is used in the high-performance market. The 57 series, available in single, dual, and triple rotor configurations are used for engine and component testing by many automotive manufacturers and their suppliers. Our dynamometers offer great flexibility with the ability to use a drive shaft or direct mount, dynamometer mounted starter, or use the engine starter. Go Power′s portability ensures quick testing.

Portable Dynos for your Convenience

Flexibility is essential, so you should have equipment that can be used wherever you need it. With a portable dyno unit from Go Power Systems, you’ll have a high-performance dynamometer when and where you need it. Testing is important and should be quick and easy to set up. When you use a portable dynamometer from Go Power Systems, you’ll find out that it is not only quick to set up but also dependable and budget friendly!

Why do you need a dynamometer?

Dynamometers are important tools for measuring power in many different industries. One obvious and very common example of this would be in the automotive industry. Engine dynamometers are used in high-performance automotive shops to measure power outputs and tune cars for optimal torque ranges.

In other industries and applications, a dynamometer can be the most accurate way to measure the performance or output of a machine. Industrial pumps may be fitted with dynamometers so that the operator can determine how much power is needed to perform a particular process. A hydraulic dynamometer is able to adjust the power of an engine quickly using fluid pressure.

There are many different types of dynos on the market, from small engine dynos to diesel engine dynamometers and beyond. If you are in an industry that uses heavy machinery, chances are that you will need one of the dynamometers that are available at Go Power Systems.
